The Sounds of mid-Summer

Got back from vacation and heard the katydids last night (they weren't out before we left).  Then this morning the cicada symphony started, I can hear them through our double paned windows!  I'm sure when I go out on the deck and i will hear the tweet and chips of the goldfinches who will be diving in and amongst the feeders, cone flowers, and golden daisies.  A nice time in the garden
